Ti TMS0119 - single-chip calculator (1971) : weekend die-shot
Texas Instruments TMS0119 is part of TMS100-series of integrated single-chip calculators. Ti was first in the world (1971) to achieve this level of integration. Originally used in TI-2500 calculator. It is made using 10 um metal gate PMOS process (metal width = 10 um, metal spacing = 10 um, diffusion width = 10 um, diffusion spacing = 10 um).You can read much more about Texas Instruments calculators & their microchips at http://www.datamath.org/, which is a result of countless years of Joerg Woerner's dedication.
